During the production and operation in the cleanroom, the human body is the maximal source of particle counts, the purpose of wearing cleanroom garment is maximum reduce the particle counts contamination and prevent electrostatic from human body. At the same time ensure cleaning clothes would not be the source of particle counts, this need to the material with static dissipative performance and fibre uneasily falling. The clothes must be washed with pure water or EDI water, packed vacuum and then used in cleanroom.

In cleanroom production environment, particle counts from workers are also related to the material of cleanroom garment.

A.According to testing, particle counts on cleanroom garment is 1/5 to 1/3 of general clothes.

B.Particle counts on cotton clothes are 10 times higher than general clothes.

Change cycle and repair

Usually, cleanroom garment need to be washed once to twice per week, change cycle for different cleanroom class pls refer to table below.

Should check and repair in lose thread, tear-off,lose fiber, damage fabric and so on.

For garment which washed 50 times to 100 times, should check cleanliness and ESD performance to decide whether to discard.
